Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is a condition that causes inflammation of the plantar fascia, the tissue that connects the heel bone to the toes and supports the arch of the foot.
Plantar fasciitis is often an overuse injury primarily due to a repetitive strain causing micro-tears of the plantar fascia. Plantar fasciitis can also occur due to trauma or other multifactorial causes.
